Safeguarding and DBS
I adhere to all online and face to face working procedures laid out by my accrediting body the BPC.

Safety when working with young people is paramount. I have a Level 3, Lead Professional Safeguarding Qualification and I have a full enhanced DBS certificate. If you would like me to work with your child then you would be encouraged to check this online through the government's DBS update service portal.
Who am I?
My name is Alice and I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist.
This means that when we meet, I listen carefully, I think a lot, and I work with you to try and make a little more sense of the things that are happening in your world. Over time, this can help to make you feel better.
I have over 20 years experience working with children, young people and families. I am a qualified teacher who taught in mainstream and EBD special education for seven years before having my own children. I also worked as a Parent Support Professional for five years before doing my clinical Psychotherapy training.

I have a Masters in Psychological Therapies and a Clinical Masters from the NHS Tavistock and Portman Foundation Trust in London, qualifying me to work as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with children, adolescents and families.
I am accredited and regulated by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and The Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (TSP)
I work in schools each week as a psychotherapist and I also have my own private practice where I see children and young people for one to one therapy sessions, as well as supporting parents and consulting to schools. I have a wide varety of experience with children and young people of all ages with a variety of emotional, behavioural and special needs.
Please don't hesitate to book in a session. I look forward to working with you.
